Wasn’t there a SCOTUS that found that you cannot tax a right? Wouldn’t that apply here?

Come on. We all know NJ thinks guns are a privilege.

May need to cross the Delaware again soon...

I sent a picture of the original post to a very close friend in NJ. Asked him if they were real numbers. Here is his response,

"That's what he wanted but he got the millionaires tax instead. He also raised the tolls on all our roads to make up for the loss of state revenue. The one he created."

    FWIW.

The mere fact that they see taxing a COTUS Right as a sorce of revenue at all... is a travesty of epic proportion.:mad54:

My wife has a thing for going to casinos. She finds it fun and it doesn't appear to be a problem so what the heck. It's her vice... guns and shooting are mine. When we were looking to possibly buy a little vacation place, she wanted us to get a condo in Atlantic City.... I said not only no, but HELL NO. I'm not owning property in NJ under any circumstance. Our marriage is a partnership and I don't usually put my foot down on something without entertaining a discussion on it... but this was one time when I put it down... hard.

Suggest an alternative, how about a nice farm in Cecil County near Hollywood casino but big enough to have a private range. Perfect get away for both of you.:D

The state is an absolute cesspool. I avoid it at all costs. I feel bad for the good people who still live there, but they should get the hell out if they can. Twenty plus years ago my wife and I used to go to Cape May a nice historic oceanside place. We don't go there any more I said no way am I putting money into a commie state. We go to North Carolina now. I used to go to Englishtown, NJ for the NHRA Summernationals Drag Race. NHRA pulled out in 2017. Now the race is at Virginia Motorsports Park just south of Richmond. I go there.

Actually... by extension... it IS a Maryland 2A issue. Because... IF it becomes/remains a reality in NJ... the MGA dimshits WILL be looking to do the same HERE.

So we most certainly do need to be aware of what is going on around us.

I foresee this going into the MD House in January. They should be totally RABID about revenue and infringement this session.
