    I've looked everywhere for american made 16 gauge hulls. high brass preferred but anything is a help. Any ideas?

    How many do you need? I am sure I have some Remington Hulls. The Herters (Cabelas) are Cheddite hulls from I think Italy, the current Winchester (not the old compression formed hulls are Australian and also Cheddite or clones. I think the Federals are made in USA too.
    The old compression formed Winchesters are/were the best but they are pretty rare now and modern data covers the newer straight wall hulls anyhow.
    All that said the cheddite hulls load OK and have lots of internal room for heavier loads, light loads are harder in them but the wads are out there.
