    This is legit. Even if you don't want the science project, they'd still like your turkey necks and giblets for the raptors.

    We did this as a field trip at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Ctr in Queenstown. pretty neat thing to do with the kids. they have every bone shape so you can identify what you found in the pellet. mostly moles voles mice. Also several owls you can check out.

    I found one in the woods near my house when I was younger. I think that Mike Rowe even did a stint as an owl pellet collector one time on Dirty Jobs.
