I just got off the phone with r&l. There's a delay in shipping. They are still in route but instead of arriving today they will arrive on the 30th.

From what he said there was an error in the type of shipping chosen on the shippers end. He told me that they are in transit and he does have tracking information. He called me to let me know what happened when he found out about it.

Pa said they don't have tracking information and there isn't a way to get it. They don't update you on anything. When they get a new date they change their website to reflect that without saying a word. Maybe my experience with them was a fluke, not sure. I did cancel my order with them.

I received my Air Venturi Avenger .25 yesterday. I only bought JSB 25 and 33 grain pellets as they didn't have much when I ordered. I spent time yesterday doing a rough tune and adjusting the trigger pull. I got the 10 for $10 from Pyramid just so it didn't arrive and not work. I'm impressed. Even though it is plastic, it's performance is awesome for the price.

I threw an old Weaver 2-7x32 scope on it and, once I zeroed it, I was putting one 25 grain pellet on top of another at 25 yards. I then degassed it and adjusted the regulator down to 2000 and brought the hammer spring up a half a turn. Now it is shooting about 3/4 inch high at 25 and right on at 50. I then started shooting 33 grain pellets and they were the real tackdrivers. They stayed right on top of each other right out to 50 yards even with about an 8 MPH wind. This morning I went and set up a 2x4 at 25 yards and fired both pellets at it. The 25 grain penetrated pretty good but didn't break through. The 33 grain went through and gone. I also ordered a 3D internal moderator off George on Ebay.

I haven't decided to take it apart and do all the mods to it so I can shoot hot slugs or play with pellets for a while. Decisions, decisions. :D

I just finished tweaking my compressor. I added a larger water pump and 1/2 inch supply and return lines as well as a Fahrenheit gauge to replace the Celsius that came with it. Man does that water move now! I fill the Avenger up to 3200 from my tank and then I fill the rest of the way from the compressor. It only takes about a minute to fill up to 4000. You really need a moderator with this rifle as it is rather loud.

I can't get over how accurate it is at 50 yards and with pellets yet!. I saw a video of a guy comparing down range power between a pellet and slug and slugs win hands down. He was getting over 40 FPE at 100 yards. awesome.

Just got back from shooting. The scope is maxed on elevation but it did zero. I think i need to change to high rings from medium to get the adjustment more centered. It seems to like 24.8 grain slugs the best. I tried 17-30 grain. The regulator is set at 2800 psi and the hammer spring 5.5 turns in. I think the reg needs to be turned down but I didn't have time to play with it. The velocity is 1050 fps with 17 grain and it drops to 750 fps with 30 grain.

Did you reinforce your bipod rail? I have read where several folks said they moved too much.

PS, don't forget to degas before turning down the regulator. ;)

I'm still waiting on my moderator. It's in USPS limbo somewhere in Easton. Why it would go from CA to ESN doesn't make sense to me.

No I didn't and there is a significant amount of flex. I'm thinking about making a picatinny mount that clamps to the air tube.

Yeah I know, thanks for the reminder.

The donny fl sumo makes it quiet. Idk how much of a difference it makes because i never shot it without the moderator.

I can tell you that the .25 is loud. Not as loud as a .22LR but, when you are used to quiet air rifles, it kinda feels weird.

There have been times when I removed the silencer from my Prod to clean the barrel and forgot to put it back on. It wakes you up real fast since I have it tuned for max FPE.

Here are the shot strings in fps. I forgot to reset the shot strings on the others, so they aren't broken down by slug weight or manufacturer.
