Taking a shot in dark here. Anybody have an Airforce rifle? I’m seeking some knowledge on the rifle and or spare parts.

    I have a .257 build in progress

I have an Air-Force Texan in .45. It shoots pretty well and is reasonably accurate. I still don't think I have found the ammo it likes best. It will shoot around 2 inches at 50 yards. It does use quite a bit of air, but it shoots a 350 grain slug. It's a well made rifle and should last a life time. Only real complaint I have is I wish it was quieter. Even with its suppressor it is kind of loud.

I got my .257 barrel and ammo yesterday.

Obviously at this point I’m beyond the backyard so now to find time and place.

The ballistics on the .257 are pretty wild. I went with Rebated Boattail so that changes drag model to G7.

May need trip to eastern shore

What twist is the barrel and what ammo did you go with? I have an older condor in .22 and a mold designed by Gregor Kamenšek made by mpmolds. I never got it out of the back yard but I still plan to take it somewhere to see how far I can push it.

Nice! I got an HW 30 in .177 for taking out Starlings and Sparrows. I am thinking about a Talon in .25 for Squirrels and varmints.
