    Good Morning Shooters,

The AGC 3 Gun Match is still on for this Sunday (Oct 18th). For some reason (I suspect it is due to the ammo shortage or the change in weekends), we still have a couple of handfuls of slots open. That said, we are going to try something this month and see how it works.

    What to Expect

-Reduced Round Count Options with Bonus Opportunities. Below are the minimum round counts NOT INCLUDING BONUS OPPORTUNITIES or MISSED TARGETS.

    -Rifle - 40 Rounds (not including bonuses/misses)

-Shotgun - 35 Rounds (not including bonuses/misses) / Slugs are optional - those targets may be engaged with Pistol if need be

    -Pistol - 15 Rounds (not including bonuses/misses)

You will need an additional 35 rounds of Shotgun OR Pistol as many of those targets can be engaged with either firearm. If you are short on 9mm, then head to Walmart and bulk up on Shotgun shells

There will several bonus opportunities. If you decide to engage/neutralize these targets, then you will be given a bonus/reduction on your raw time. If you don't have enough ammo to engage the bonuses, then no worries and no penalties.

In addition, and to add some complexities, there will be empty gun starts, limited mag capacities, strong hand only pistol targets (while holding a roll of toilet paper in the other hand), and weak shoulder rifle engagements. This can be a very shotgun heavy match depending on how participants choose to engage targets.

The idea here is to give the shooter options depending on their comfort level with the size of their ammo stash. If it works, then great; if it doesn't, then we will try to figure out something different in the future.

Disclaimer: Unless you are perfect, please don't show up with the minimums listed above. Just know that do have the option to use a lot less ammo than normal and still have a great time.
