Some reloading manuals recommend the use of commercial magnum primers instead of standard primers to ignite certain powders (usually ball powders). My question: Is the energy output of CCI 41 and 34 military primers the same as comparably sized commercial magnum primers such as CCI 450 and 250 primers?
