    Hi -

I just bought this Ruger Mk II used. It appears to have an aftermarket trigger installed, but I have not been able to identify it. Does anyone know what this is? I know very little about this. Should I be going "Yipee, this is a great trigger" or "damn, I'm screwed".

    Thanks for your help!

Using my "google-fu" skills the only thing close I can find is a "Clark Custom trigger". I don't actually know if this is correct, because it doesn't seem to be too common.

I tried that with my first revolver, a Ruger Security Six. A drill bit would just put a small dimple in it and just dull. Even titanium and carbides wouldn't cut it. I used a different method to control overtravel after that.

I imagine the 22 Auto triggers maybe softer due they are not part of the sear/hammer engagement like a revolver trigger is.

You made a good choice for a .22.
I had a MKII bull barrel years ago and it was soooo much better than what I replaced it with. Really wish I had kept it.
