We are having our monthly military match this Sunday 10/14 starting at 12:00. It is very informal and open to the public.

The match dates back many years and originally only included as-issued military rifles, no matter origin or time period.

Other classes have since been added for match rifles and M1 carbines. Standard and match-grade AR-15s and M1As all fall in the match rifle class, and only iron-sights are permitted in any class.

All shooting is from benches, and fired on 2 targets - one for unlimited sighters, and the other for 10 record shots in a time limit of 15 minutes.

Rifles are used on 100 yd. targets and M1 carbines on 50 yd. targets. If kids participate they can use .22 rifles on the 50 yd. targets.

Use of ear & eye protection, sand bags, M1 rifles, and coaching are provided free of charge if needed, and .30-06 and .30 carbine ammo is available for purchase.

.22 rifles and ammo are provided free of charge for kids to use.

Each relay entry is $4, and a shooter can enter a particular rifle for only one relay, but can enter any number of rifles that time allows.

Lunch is included in our clubhouse following the match.

looks like 3400 northwind road up near Harford road.

Yes, D223 emailed me the directions. I was stoke about it but found out today I have to work this weekend. I may try and get out if I can get my butt out of bed Sunday morning. I'm working 12 hrs on Saturday night.

I want to see the M1 being fired.

    Directions

    I meant to include directions.

From 695 take Harford Road north.

    Go past Joppa Rd.

Right on Northwind Rd at next light.

The club is not far on the left. Can't miss the sign.

Take the drive all the way to the club house and follow the drive to the right up to the rifle ranges.

Need help, call 410-668-4327. It is a work day, so someone should answer.

We had good directions on the website, but it is being reworked right now.
