    Hi guys,

I'm looking to pull the trigger on my first suppressor, and I've hit a roadblock. I can't find any good unbiased info on whether or not titanium baffles would be better or worse than inconel baffles for precision .308 bolt guns.

I've narrowed it down to either the AAC Cyclone, or the new SRD762TI from Sig Sauer. They both look good, but all the info I can find points to the SRD being all titanium construction. (I put in a call today to Sig and the customer service guy is looking into materials used)

The SRD is 5 oz lighter than the Cyclone, but if the Cyclone will hold up better over time, I'll gladly deal with the extra weight.

    Thanks guys.

I would also look at silencerco cans also! Most suppressors are backed by a lifetime warranty, just look at customer service too since you will basically live with it the rest of your life. Look at it like you are buying into a company.

Thunder Beast. Minimal to NO POI shift.

People have fired nice groups with switching suppressed/unsuppressed each round.

Yeah I looked at those, but they're a bit on the pricey side for me. Looking for one that can take a beating and not break the bank.

For a .308 bolt gun you should take a look at the Silencerco Harvester.

From my readings, the Titanium is only an issue if shooting full auto, otherwise good to go. All the above cans are good as are the Gemtech Titaniums.

    Buy once, cry once.

And Thunder Beast has occasional sales. I got mine at a discount.
