Has anyone had any experience with Palmetto State Armory AR-15's. I purchased one the other day at On Target on without knowing anything about them.

Are you talking about the complete or just the lower? From what I have been able to gather - and that is on the lower, is that they are worth the money. They hold their weight. Maybe not so much in a military environment, but in general use, many people have shot thousands of rounds through them with little to no issues.

They have quality uppers as well - I have a 20inch CHF FN barreled upper that has been great.

The complete rifles have had a pretty good reputation as well. The main thing people complain about with PSA is the wait times when they are overloaded. Obviously not a problem since you bought in person. You done good.

I've been lusting over their mid-length premium mock dissipators when they come up on-sale. And I kick myself over and over again for not buying a bunch of their "patrol carbine" packages (M4gery with magpul BUIS and Aimpoint Pro for $1000). What a deal that was!

All I can say is that I transfered MANY MANY MANY items from Palmetto State Armory and have not heard any complaints.

Once I send my FFL the items usually arrive very quickly.

I looked at there wed site last night and it looks like they still have stripped lowers for sale for a reasonable price. Around $100 I think.

Myself and a friend just ordered a couple lowers. Should be here today. I've been using one of their 14.5 uppers with their BCG for a while. Haven't had a single issue.

Did the upper come pinned? If not, did you pin it or have it done? (assuming not SBR) They currently have 14.7 middys, but they are unpinned.

From my research, widely regarded as upper middle class. From my experience: I have a 16" midlength but have only put 200 rounds through it. My step dad was the only person I knew who listened back on black friday and picked up the same upper with a Vortex red/green dot when they had that package on sale for $350...it was nuts, it was like paying $190 for an upper without a BCG (they still had the bcg issues back then lol).

He's pleased with fit and finish, haven't been able to get him out to the range yet though.

Came pinned. One of these days I may go about changing the flash hider but I like the way it shoots with the A2. I believe I could have chosen a different one at the time but this was a budget KISS rifle.

One of the better 'bang for buck' companies going.

I've used multiple PSA lowers for builds, and while it may not say Colt, BCM, DD, Noveske on the roll-mark - your not paying the big name price, so it's a good cost-effective solution.

Built up 4 and have parts for ten more, I honestly can't see anything wrong with, all of there parts fit great and the finish always matches up,I regret not buying more of the lowers at 49$,only complaint is how they ship, buy 10 uppers you get 10 boxes and 10 charges.

so far my PSA upper seems to be top notch... I've been really impressed by PSA... some of their stuff doesn't seem to be nearly the gouging I have seen elsewhere. Heck, just got a vortex strikefire from them for 137 shipped.... Now if my engage armament lower would just hurry up and get here :)
