Hi guys, happy to be here! I'm enjoying reading about all the area happenings and issues.

Like a few others here, I've been through the DC registration process a few times. It wasn't too bad, but some of that is due to the fact that I'm retired military (DD214 = training) and I already owned the guns. Guys in the registration shop were great and easy to work with. First time in there I was expecting a hostile interrogation and was very pleasantly surprised by the customer service. My imagination had me expecting something like "hey Bill, the 6 on this form looks like a 5, get me the Notice of Confiscation log..."

I'm thinking of picking up a 9mm which will be a new purchase, so I have the DC FFL process to look forward to. I'm sure I'll have some questions to post once I pick something out.
