Kind of a problem...

Was using my Otis cleaning kit. Accidentally screwed on a .30 cal bore brush (the soft cotton one) and tried to yank it through my 5.56 AR-15 barrel. It's pretty stuck in there. A cleaning rod is too thick to hammer it out because of the cable already hanging out the barrel.

Any ideas?

If the brush is stuck you should be able to unscrew the cable. Just turn the right direction.

After that is removed use a solid rod and knock it out.

That would be making sure it is well lubed before ramming it with the rod.
