Why does everyone keep saying that the 6721 is discontinued? Pretty sure that is not true??

Colt didn't lose the military contract as an aside, they were underbid. They now have it back and are sharing it with FN. The low bidder no longer has it.

The Ruger HBAR is only a couple oz heavier than the regular version, which isn't too heavy at all. Not sure where the Colt weighs in.

Clandestine, how would you compare the Windham HBC with the 6721? Would appreciate your learned opinion...

The WW is a nice AR, but the Colt has more consistency with the Feed Ramps, and Gas Key SPecs and Installation.

The Colt will need a new Hammer (It comes notched)
The Windham would be improved with a Colt Gold Extractor Spring

If I didnt have the tools and gauges, I would buy the Colt. I can rebuild a WW to be on par with a Colt.

Colt all the way for the simple reason that I like Colt AR's.
Although WW's are bot far behind.

Mostly redundant at this point, but I'd opt for the Colt for all the reasons stated. Ruger makes great guns, but why take a Cadillac when you can drive a 'Benz?

Doesn't the Ruger have some kind of crappy cast front site block? I saw one at Cabellas the thought it was comparable to buying a set of "tourist" copper pans when visiting France...

    Definitely the Colt...
