I had not been receiving much mail from MDS after about noon. I guess Comcast got it fixed because I had 30 emails blow up my inbox at 8:18 tonight. These emails were ALL from MDS. Strange how Comcast seems to only have trouble with MDS.

So if anyone else was wondering, it wasn't your computer, it was Comcast A G A I N !!!!!

Free yourself from Comcast/NBC/CNBC/MSNBC. You pay Chris Matthews's, Rachel Madcow's, and Joe and Mika's salaries.

Sure thing - I'll just go back to my Earthlink dialup. Wait...

BTW, I restarted my mail client and got mails from a variety of sources after a quiet afternoon. :sad20:

Comcast has on-air "talent," personalities, and themselves to pay and keep happy. And an important cultural mission to fulfill. If anything's left over, a little bit might go to customer service. Maybe.

Sometimes the CS isn't too bad. If you can get an American on the line. Not long ago I had a TV issue. I got Tom from Virginia. He was able to fix the issue in no time and waiting on the line until I was sure the issue was fixed. But most of the time you get Bob or Mary from India, which are doing their best to sound like they're from the US.

    That's when my problems start.

To be honest, the only real problems I have had with their customer service is when they don't know what equipment I have. They used to ask me to unplug my modem to reset it and I would have to explain that it had a battery back up in it an unplugging it won't do anything. The techs that have come out have been really great. This last time was for a problem where my internet service would drop out a lot. The guy came out and it turns out that the problem was with one of the cables inside the house. By their policies, I should have been charged for the fix, but they let it slide.
