If I understand correctly, they want to amend the last word of pg1 from "or" to "and." That makes it huge

So Atterbeary's suggestion of having the mom's standing up in favor of the bill speaks volumes. It says, "We don't care what you have to say. All of you say same thing. Let's save time and just have you stand".
Well, that was an unfortunate surprise...a nothing bill inflated to beyond HB4 overreach with the last minute change of a single word

The ammendment was mentioned in the favorable testimony. I wonder if our delegates knew it was coming. They didn't seem as shocked and outraged as us.
It sure did change the course of my testimony. Had I known they were changing the or to AND, my written testimony would have been slightly different and a little more strongly worded.

I do not have anything personal against the JUD chair, so I will not name call. However, I do not agree with his politics nor his method of scheduling hearings.

Even if I did have a personal issue w/someone, I still would probably not name call. I don't believe that I've disparaged Del. Atterbeary in any way even though she has done so to me.
