Just thought I'd throw out a hi there as everyone else seems to do. I do have a question though. Anyone know of anywhere a girl can take some lessons. Looking into competative shooting and curious if there are any places out there that can teach me.

Depends on what you base it off of. I own a few hand guns and shot guns. Go to the range a couple times a month. I'm a decent shot, but want to be better (hand gun wise, not as great with rifle or shot gun, working on that). Been at it for a couple years.

A good competition to start with could be a steel match. The club that a bunch of us belong to does theme on Saturdays. Once a month. Just need gun and ammo.

Just tell me when and where. Do you have to be a member of the club to come? What style gun do you reccomend for it?

Welcome. The steel matches are fun for handgun. You have to be proficient in safely drawing your handgun from the holster, as long as you keep it safe the only other requirement is to have fun.

There are a bunch of instructors in the Industry Partners section, I'm sure you'll soon be acclimated to where to find the instruction you seek.
