Had to hang up the hoyt and missed all of last season on doctor's orders. Picked up a wicked ridge invader x4 today so I can still hunt even if I cant shoot a compound anymore. 30mins out of the box I had a 2" group at 40yds. Need to get some rail lube and more wax so I can really test this thing out but so far it's awesome. Chronographed it with a 440gr bolt avg was 332fps. Rated for 360fps I'm sure with a much lighter bolt.

I tried archery for the first time this past Saturday at a Sportsmans demonstration event. Tried both compound and not (or regular, or whatever you call it). After unsuccessful attempts to hit the flying discs or get anywhere near the bullseye, I said "Thank you, but I prefer my AR". :D

I shot some grim reaper practice heads through it. They shot fine. Plan to order some reaper crossbow heads for deer same exact head as what I shot through my hoyt just with a stiffer spring.

I told my daughter that and the she said "Its different" I said, "It's just expensive, unscented, chap stick"

They probably are a bit different as Chapstick is petroleum based, but beeswax and oil or lard would be the same.
