I mean the measuring dohicky with a dial indicator that reads ID inside the bbl .

I have two nominally Cylinder " choke" 20ga , but with digital calipers I'm getting muzzle ID of .614 , and .629 , and I'm curious about baseline bore diameters .

The .628/629 ( probably .6285 & calipers flick back and forth on rounding ) is a shortened full length bbl , so may well simply have been a mildly overbore bbl . The .614 was mfg at that length , so perhaps it was made with a few thousandths of constriction . ( This is sometimes done on factory " cylinder " fixed bbls , and is a good thing .)

I have a choke gauge. Is that what you need? Live in Bel Air, work in Catonsville.

How deep does it measure ? I can measure at the muzzle with digital calipers , I'm wanting to measure several inches ( 6 ? ) in from either end .
