I don't know that i've ever seen a chrome lined Nitride carrier or if that is even a thing.

    From the interwebs

Oops. You got me. I only have one nitride bcg and yes, it is chrome lined.
The rest of mine are phosphate/chrome.

There used to be a guy here who would rail against nitrite bcgs stating that many had bores milled to accommodate chrome lining, only to have been nitrided instead, making them out of spec.
I hope I got that right.

This is definitely true of gas keys. A lot of nitrided Aero BCG's come through with oversize gas key bores. Not sure about the carrier bores but it's certainly possible.

I stopped by Engage this afternoon (the line was 6 people deep to get in the door) and noticed that they had a handful of BCG's in stock

Friend got his. Disassembled it and it looked good. Proper staking and chrome lining was nice.

Swapped the extractor spring for a Sprinco for him. Not a bad deal for this market.

As of now they're back in stock.

    Just a quick update :

I received my GUNLAB bolt carrier groups today and they look pretty good.

The staking on the gas key is excellent. The finish on the carrier is matt but polished on the rails, gas key, gas run and bolt. Which is something I have not seen on a Nitride carrier before. The Bolt is marked MPI and the machining looks nearly perfect. At first glance it appears to be a solid BCG.

SOLGW posted on Facebook yesterday they had shipments of BCG’s going out to Brownells, Primary Arms, and Kosher Surplus. They should be on their sites next week.

I check reddit/r/gundeals every day, multiple times a day. the good people over there continuously post in stock ammo as well as BCGs (and anything else firearm related).
