I'm not very tech savvy anymore, and I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn for years...but I have a hunch the answer is going to be something like: "MDS runs on outdated software that won't work with Rumble. It is possible to upgrade MDS, but too many members would have a fit if anything changed." :rolleye12

Admittedly, I'm one of the curmudgeons who doesn't want it to change :o

This is, it seems, exactly the actual answer. A PS on that answer was that even the current version of this server-side software MAY have a way to custom script tags to support non-canned-abilities for embedding unforeseen things from third parties. It's not like the MDS software has to actually understand how to stream the video or anything - it just has to translate a provided video identifier and a custom tag into a different string of text that renders Rumble's embed code. If this version of vBulletin supports custom tags, then it's doable, even if it's a minor chore for a dev kinda person.

I'm with you on not otherwise being too excited about rocking the user experience boat here ... unless it makes the search behavior a LOT more functional.

Guessing software is in the can.

maybe could copy and paste code from { yt} stuff. But it is compiled and cant get a new version. change the bits here and there.
