    Yeah, the website says Berdan primed cartridges aren't really reloadable. I may not be able to reload these after all.

    People have converted that Berdan brass to Boxer before. It involves milling the anvil flush, drilling a central flash hole, soldering a piece of a .22 case in there, and swaging the pocket to size.

    Berdan primers do get imported every few years. They turn up in secondary sales too. There was a guy down in Chesterfield selling 5.5mm Berdan primers at $50 per thousand last month.

    Berdan=Not worth the effort unless you are hard core. Just removing primers is pain in the arse.

    BTW, I don't recall the price but Atlantic Guns has Mosin Food. Prices are obviously higher than a year ago, they price it to slowly sell, not to fly off the shelves.

    I haven't shot my Czech silvertip in a while, but if I recall, it smells a tad funky. Been shooting up my Tula recently.

    Not sure where online but I did see someone do a break down step by step of converting spam can 54R to a boxer primer. Waay to much effort and doing it on steel cased garbage to boot :crazy:
