I know the subject is non-competition ammunition, but at our club's Rimfire Challenge events, I've been very pleased by Winchester M-22 for my rifles and most of the time for pistols as well. The one case where it's not reasonably reliable is my 1911 conversion kit. Only CCI Mini-Mags will consistently cycle the action for that pistol.

My experience as well. And M-22 was still misfire prone in my Mk IV Ruger.
