applied Sunday to York County Sheriff
had call around noon on Tuesday approved
and picked up on Wednesday and got fingerprinted for Florida
in and out less than 45 min
How did the fingerprints work for Florida? Did they provide the fingerprint card? Cost? I applied for the PA permit today and after reading your post I figure that maybe I should finally go ahead and get the FL as well.
According to the latest info, you can use standard print cards from anywhere or request them from FL. Note they must be done at a LE agency and the address and name of the Dept. has to be entered on the back of the card

I requested the Florida fingerprint cards but I don't know how long they will take. I may have to schedule appt to pick up my permit after the cards come in if they don't provide cards in York.

For those doing Adams county, what is the scheduling process? Call and make an appointment or what after approved?
A friend of mine wants to head up with me so we can both knock it out once I have My MD permit. Just wondering what the logistics would be.
Plan to stop at Reddings hardware and grab lunch somewhere. Any suggestions?
ETA: if it was mentioned, I’m getting confused between the different counties.

4 biz days or calendar days? Reason I ask is I applied on Friday 8/12 and still waiting.

Received notice to schedule photo and pick up of permit yesterday, scheduled for today.
Man I love how uncomplicated the process and reasonable the cost is.
Went for my renewal in Bedford on Friday.
Another gent who lives near me was also there.
It is nice that PA mailed notices that permit needed renewal.

3 of us showed up an hour early for our appointments at Adams county. The girl took us right in and all 3 of us were out in 10 minutes. We were half way back to annapolis before our scheduled appointment
PSA - REMINDER -
Don't forget that your Maryland permit must be in effect for the PA to be valid / renewed.
The other gent who was there same as I was, said on the way in, that it was nice PA sent a notice because his MD was expired and he was pending renewal. The tech in the sheriff's office had to deny his renewal app since MD was not in force on that day.

For York you can apply online and they will notify you when to come pick it up.
