Cabela's has PMC XTAC 5.56 on sale also with $5 shipping-code 2FALL. Not great, but in stock and averaging 36 cents per round. Most that are cheaper are back-ordered.

luckygunner.com, cheaperthandirt.com, and underwoodammo.com. I especially like Underwood. Good quality, quick shipping. Decent prices. Ammoman.com ships free, but doesn't seem to carry as much of a selection as they used too. Probably due to supplier issues.

Might have to make the drive to Fallston. Are they pretty stocked on 223 and 9mm?

They are committed to never being out of stock of 9mm. I'm been there 4 times in the last 6 weeks and there was always plenty of 9mm.

.223 sells pretty fast and they don't seem to keep as much of that in stock. Having said that they were only out of the 100 round boxes of Federal 1 time in my last 4 visits.

Easiest thing to do is give their ammo department a call before driving over.

They also always seem to have plenty of .45.

Ammo sale Cabela's. If you're not an ammo snob. They work fine for me.

    Rec'd sale notice on Herter's steel cased .223 and 7.62 x 39.

$4.49 box of 20. Free shipping on orders over $99 placed by 11/27.

Makes them cheaper than Walmart Tula, delivered to your door.

Just stopped by the Fallston Walmart on the way back from getting a Christmas tree and bought a 5 pack of the Federal 9mm 100 counts, they had a few of them and a ton of the single packs. I found a single packs at the Walmart by my work last week but they have been sold out since. I overhead the guy at the Fallston Walmart say his boss orders 5 times the regular amount of the ammo to keep it in stock. I have bought 750 rounds and I can't even pick up my 9mm until tuesday or wednesday

I ordered from Cabela's couple of days ago....
Federal American Eagle 200 rounds of 308 with AMMO can for $160.
(Not cheap but not too bad...)

But what's wrong with Palmetto State...still saying this on their RULE page..

"Cannot shipped to Maryland: City of Annapolis and Montgomery County" ???

I think they need to get that rule CHANGE soon, otherwise loose few good customers...:bullhorn:

If you shoot a lot, as most registered shooters do, go to Shydas in Lebanon PA. It's worth the trip from Maryland, maybe an hour and a half. Shydas carries most reloading supplies and plenty of ammo at a much better price than the big outdoor stores. If you really want to place a huge order check out CAC Associates in Ebensburg PA.

    Shydas, 717-273-6572
    CAC Assoc. 814-472-4430.

If you want supplies mailed go to Gamaliel.com

It is an artifact from days past. At one time MoCo passed a law that banned online ammo sales into the county. The state slapped them down like dogs, so it is no longer an issue.

If you place your ammo order, it will go through.
