Democrats and their Caucused Independents....go figure. No big surprise. The Blue Dogs and JFK Democrats are dead and forgotten to the DNC

    sound off! http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c7f_1448604448

it is not a video, but rather a list of all the "sell-outs" in our gubment.

Whatever we may think of this UN resolution, it doesn't actually say what this link says it says -- "CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countries."

Here's the actual Point 11 of UN Resolution 2117:

    11. Calls for Member States to support weapons collection, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants, as well as physical security and stockpile management programmes by United Nations peacekeeping operations where so mandated

I'm no fan of a lot of the senators who voted for it more than a year ago, and we can debate what the effect of the resolution might be... but the (direct) quote in the link was incorrect.

    Yeah. You're right.

This Administration would absolutely recruit Eastern European or South American or African countries armies that are lawless and hardcore...

There is nothing that Jarrett won't try or do.

As these SOBs get closer to the end of their time, they will torch law, order and social balance.

You don't think the UN "peackeeping" forces will eventually show up to try and enforce this?

I put nothing past the demons of socialism.

It's insane to think that the UN would do anything at all against a permanent member of the Security Council (a country with veto power, by the way, and a ton of allies).

We could sign a resolution tomorrow turning over all US sovereignty to the UN with the promise that we'll work in the salt mines for the rest of eternity just for laughs, then tear it up the next day and mock the UN for thinking that we were serious. What's the UN going to do, send their (ineffective) military? We ARE the military for half of those countries, plus all we need to say is "veto" and boom, no invading UN forces.

So the UN isn't going to do anything. What do we have to worry about then? Are we going into US legislation thinking "we better not do this, it might violate that UN thing we signed"? Of course not.

This is so not an issue. When you run the show in international relations you don't have to bow to anyone that you don't want to bow to.

The problem is that our elected officials are more than willing to give in to subordinating our government to the UN.

That's actually some of the best advice I've seen in a while on MDS. Wish more people would operate further than two inches from their noses.
