Does anyone here find it ironic that the CMP buys surplus semi automatic rifles from the US Army (Federal Government) and sells them to the public at discount prices and then the Federal government (Congress) tries to and ban semi automatic weapons?

Anyway, to answer the original question- I'm buying an M1 Garand. I wanted a shooter in good condition so I settled for one of the new "Special" grades that have no collector value.

I'm kind of laughing at my choice because ammo is scarce and M2 ball is even more scarce.

CMP doesn't have to buy them, they're transferred directly from the Army's inventory. The CMP uses the proceeds of rifle and ammo sales for its primary goal of promoting marksmanship and to fund its own operations.

Going forward Trump supporters should be especially mindful of their security. Media and big tech will encourage open violence against Republicans.

There are Trump supporters and there are Republicans. Sometimes they overlap but not always.

Your point is especially apt because what you're saying is that the violence will be indiscriminate. Trump supporter? Republican? Conservative? Will they discriminate at all?

Agreed there is a difference. It will first start with Trump's base. Biden should not be inaugurated.

Time will tell for sure. I see Biden being wheeled to one of the wings hot coco in hand gazing out over a court yard. Then saying is it time for my sponge bath. Heels up will be seated at the presidential deck answering a lot of phone calls from people telling her what to do next. And might I say President Donald J Trump worked for the people and sleepy, well we all know where his empty head is.:tdown:

I'm still not sure I feel hopeful about the amount of gun owners who are going to be willing to not be complacent.
Considering we just let them stal an election and any hope for a fair election ever again.

    But we'll see I guess.

So, here we are. Biden & his administration are in hiding after giving Afghanistan & Americans there a royal screwing. Consequently, taliban & al qaida are back in business & planning more terror on the world. The ATF is back to changing the goalposts on their own. Gas is over $3, other prices are going up, & of course the chyna virus is still here. Socialism is taking over the US. The only good thing I've noticed the last few days is some of the liberal media are hitting back against the lies coming from the installed occupant of the White House.

I'm hoping that all these events will turn enough people around to see how far in the toilet the democrats are pushing this country.

So, here we are. Mid terms are approaching, SCOTUS is presumably preparing to rule on several groundbreaking issues, the rats & rinos are pushing even more gun control, regular gas is approaching $5 a gallon, the installed occupant of the white house pushes lie after lie. Somehow, I'm not feeling optimistic at all. Is this the "worse before it gets better" part? Cuz I'm telling ya, if cigars & bourbon get much more expensive, that's when the shits gonna hit the fan.

At this point, the Demonrats cannot afford to allow any election to be held that they do not control.

Anyone starting a pool on when the administration(commie turds) declares martial law to save us from the next plandemic?
I'm in for $20 on the last week of October with the propaganda campaign to begin in late August.
