Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. This thing Is rough. Looks like it was spray painted at some point so I do not know if some markings are hiding. I cannot find manufacturer or caliber only what appears to be a serial number below the cylinder on the right and something on the cylinder. Also the loading gate was broken off.

Any ideas? Also opinions, what would you do with it? Gun buyback, strip and refinish, wall hanger, put in EDC rotation

Identify it - no doubt someone here will know what it is - and it might be valuable to someone who needs it for parts. I wouldn't send it to the meltdown people unless it turns out to be of no use to anyone else. Old parts can be junk, or someone's unobtanium.

Thanks! It does seem like a Webley copy. Is the "safety" probably.an import thing?

    Caliber is .44 ish?

Something wrong with the trigger too. It doesn't return , you have to half cock the hammer, or manually pull the trigger forward to get it to reset

It stirs my memory having seen that on the Forgotten Weapons youtube channel , but slipped my mind for the moment which one it was . A 1870- 80's Europe millitary revolver .

If you search the phrase "Webley ELG Markings", you'll get a PDF list that shows that it is indeed Belgian.
