VC made 1911 copy. This was on display at a now defunct military museum in Florida. Too bad no paperwork but still an interesting relic from the Vietnam War.
Basically it's a similar concept to the "Liberator" pistol from WWII...use it only as long as it takes to kill an enemy and take his gun to use.
Sounds about right Bob. The barrel actually has some rifling in it!
I would think if they had a pistol to pull a barrel from a repair would be way easier
Have you disassembled it? Maybe they used a 45 barrel
Is that the CMP rack grade or field grade??
