    From the email:

    VA-ALERT

Caught with their hand in the cookie jar or a mistake? Dominion claims mistake. Could have been a wink-and-a-nod. We don’t know, but it sure seems suspicious that Dominion Energy would hand off $200,000 without any idea of how it was going to be used.

I have learned that gun owners absolutely inundated Dominion Energy with unhappy calls and emails yesterday! Dominion Energy was taken totally by surprise with the volume of calls. Not just customers, but shareholders were angry, too. A few hours into the merciless pounding, Dominion Energy made this statement:

“Although familiar with the Accountability Virginia PAC sponsors, we failed to vet sufficiently the scope of their intended activities. In as much, we have asked that our contributions be returned.” (https://richmond.com/news/state-and...cle_1091f0b6-dc51-55c3-ad9e-9af0e60a3b57.html)

So, Dominion Energy gets their $200,000 back – what about the damage that was done to gun owners with that money? What about those discouraged gun owners who did not vote because of the Accountability Virginia PAC ads? How is Dominion Energy going to make that right?

Let’s be clear: Dominion Energy getting their money back fixes NOTHING.

Now it’s up to VCDL to try to clean up Dominion Energy’s mess.

We’ll start by at least giving everyone a chance to listen to McAuliffe and Youngkin speaking on guns:

It's not going to matter...McAuliffe is a good friend of the Clinton mafia. The fix is already in..You will see a large amount of voting irregularities and he will win regardless of the vote count...

The dems can now control who counts the votes...and that's all that matters...same thing will happen in 22. The dems are destroying the fabric of our nation, people are highly pissed...and yet I will bet that not only do they hold congress somehow they will increase their margin in the Senate to allow them to pass anything without the help of a single Republican OR Joe Manchin.

Dominion Energy is doing what many special interest groups did right before the 2016 elections, they paid bribe money in advance to the people who they thought would win. In 2016, all the chumps who paid the Clinton foundation discovered on election night their investments were lost money down the drain.

There is so much Democrat money coming from outside the state that they are going to buy the election. Corruption runs through the entire Democrat party. Today we got two more mailers from Democrat funded pacs telling us to vote for Mcauwful. I already voted for Youngkin and we need to get the word out to every VA gun owner to vote for Youngkin because we know what the Democrat will do if elected.

Nah . Intrest groups and big corporations give $ to both sides / any candidate with vaguely possible chance of attaining office .

Cheap insurance to ensure having an in / or more cynically avoid retaliation for not having ponied up in advance .

One of the attached news briefs indicates Dominion provided mailers to the rural areas of the state.
They sent anti Youngkin ads to Co-op and AEP customers?
    200k is nothing to them.
McCauliffe is one of those types that you can tell soon as you look at him he's a douche bag of the highest order.
    Diblasio's brother.

That pretty much sums it up. Dominion, like most large corps, is pretty much amoral and just hedges its political bets so it's covered no matter who wins. The exceptions are ones run by founders, or very strong CEOs, where one person's political and social beliefs can be imposed on the company without stockholder or BoD backlash. But that's not really the norm for publicly-held companies where a large stockholder lawsuit waits in the wings for execs who try to test the "Get Woke, go broke" hypothesis.

Thanks for posting this, Bob. Was just reading it on Fox ...

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/virginia-energy-company-dominion-backlash-anti-youngkin-ads

    Dominion seems to be anti-2A

    You're welcome.

I'm a member of VCDL even though I live in MD, and for my 25 bucks a year I get all their emails. which I post here as a public service. (I didn't write any of this; it's the work of their president, Phil Van Cleave).

It's a good organisation; I joined because they actively support MSI at the VA gun shows, and MSI reciprocates. I recommend dropping a few bucks on the organisation . . . you know, "for the price of a box of ammo, they'll defend your 2A rights" type of thing.

Thank you for the Fox link; helps flesh out the picture.
