It was full military honors but I did not see if there was a live bugler playing Taps there or not?
I just watched the video - that was definitely a real bugler. He did a decent job of it. Sure as heck beats that electronic thing that can (and has!) fail.(ed)

Taps was present via a live troop playing a horn. Sounded just as it should.
Being a trained Army Trumpet player, there were a couple of minor things wrong with it - small rhythmic things. Still, it's better that a real troop was there actually playing.

Funny being I was standing right next to you when it was playing. I was just staring straight ahead. I know it sure didn't sound like a recording. I personally have never heard the recording at a military funeral. It has always been a live troop playing the horn.

I was honored to be part of the Patriot Picket Color Guard.

Thanks to all who were able to attend, and for those who supported us in absentia.

A beautiful day for a combat soldier to be laid to rest today, no longer “unaccompanied.”

Arrived early, but many of the estimated 500 who accompanied Captain Brown to his final rest were already gathered at the ceremony site.

The Ceremonial Rifle Squad was making their last uniform check, as the other Services assembled:

The Ceremonial Rifle Squad took their position next the bugler for firing the 3-Gun Salute, followed by the playing of Taps.

The Folding of the Colors ceremony followed:

Veterans were also seated under the awnings; a neighbor of Captain Phillip Brown was presented with the Colors.

A Chaplain thanked Captain Brown for his Service, and lead a prayer.

The Director of the Baltimore National Cemetery thanked all who attended and shared a brief biography of Captain Brown, and detailed Captain Brown’s extensive list of military commendations as a combat officer in Viet Nam.

After the service concluded, many attendees remained to greet others; the Air Force unit remained at the ceremony site until all attendees had departed.

Before leaving, the Patriot Picket Color Guard remained in place for the departing attendees, and to pose for some final pictures:

Thanks to all who attended and who sent prayers up to honor Captain Phillip Brown.

As Patriot Picket departed the ceremony site, I noticed one of the local TV news camera photographers dropped to the ground to record this image; I captured this still photo of it:

They do a recording at Cheltenham. Happened when we buried my FIL. Sad.

This takes me back. I commanded a team for many funerals in Illinois. I'm glad they were able to get the honors for him.

A beautifully maintained US Military Cemetery.

I found myself taking these pictures standing next to a headstone with a very familiar name:
