    I'm helping a relative clean up her late husband's reloading bench and she wants to clear the space. The firearms are already willed to relatives that don't reload and I personally don't reload these calibers so I'm going to test the waters here for interest before I painstakingly list all the individual items in the classifieds. Really would like to just sell all to one person to minimize driving. If there is interest then I will make a more detailed list of all the items with pictures.

    There is a collection of bullets(over 1k commercial cast: Southern, Alpha Bravo), dies(Lee and RCBS), molds(Lee), brass(new and some of it already primed) for 45 colt, 45-70, 44 mag, 44-40, and a few boxes of bullets(Hornady, Sierra) and brass for 243 win. Also have approximately 2-3k each of large pistol and larger rifle primers.

    There's also some once fired brass as well as home cast bullets but I have not had the time to look through and sort everything. Could just melt them down and recast to your liking.

    If one of you is a 45 colt or lever gun fan then this might be a deal for you.

    EDIT:
    Location is Harford County. Would prefer to sell in a batch but will part out for local trips.

    Also interested, primarily for the 45 colt and 45-70.

    Coincidentally, yesterday I was at the range practicing with my 45 colt lever gun.

    Interested in the entire package.

    I have need for most of it. And for the rest, it is an excuse to purchase a couple of new firearms. :D

    ok thanks for all the replies.

    Give me some time to compile the list of items and I'll send it out. It's taking longer than I realized to go through it and sort out the good, the bad, and the ugly.

    On MDS you could post a thread testing the interest in buying an Asperly Aimless and somebody would be interested, plus replies from people who own them, ballistic tables, and reloading advise.

    :lol:

    That was amusing.

    I've been here only sporadically for the last few years and had forgotten the zeal that can be generated from something that is seemingly minor.

    Tomorrow I will get to visit the location of the items and make a better inventory. I probably should have waited to post until I had a full accounting of the items so as to not get anyone hyperventilating. ;)

    I finally worked my way through 95+% of my deceased relative's basement and compiled a list of items.

    I am asking for $900 for the widow's benefit and 500 small rifle primers for my efforts, or $950 for all if no one has small rifle primers. The market sucks for primers but maybe someone has a few extra. My own reloading has dead ended due to no small rifle primers. I'd like to roll a few of mine own in the deceased's honor since he was the person who taught me to reload. There are 5500 large pistol/rifle primers listed below and much more 45acp then I first realized.

    All items were stored in a cool dehumidified basement work room for their entirety.

    Primers:
    1000 WLRM large rifle magnum
    400 WLR large rifle
    1000 CCI(#200) large rifle
    2500 WLP large pistol
    600 CCI(#300) large pistol

    Powder:
    1 lb winchester-231 unopened

    Live Ammo(commercial):
    44-40 225gr lead flat Magtech cowboy action loads 50 cartridges

    Live Ammo(reloads are free with whole package):
    44 wcf (44-40) 50 rounds
    45 long colt 50 rounds
    The deceased was a careful reloader but I cannot vouch for what I did not make. I trusted him and often reloaded with him but you could always pull the bullets if in doubt.

    Brass:
    97 starline 45LC primed (~60 are new brass, rest are probably once fired and reprimed)
    75 starline 44-40 new unprimed
    25 primed 44mag new brass
    25 Hornady 243 new unprimed
    a mix of misc brass of varying quality and caliber (45acp, 30-30, etc.. free)

    Bullets(commercial):
    800 45acp 230gr
    200 45acp 230gr plated

    500 44mag special 0.429 200gr Southern & Precision Cast Bullets
    45 44mag 0.429 200gr plated(heavy?) with cannelure

    700 45colt 0.452 250gr Southern & Precision Cast Bullets

    120 44-40 0.427 200gr Precision Cast Bullets
    140 44-40 0.428 200gr Precision Cast Bullets
    100 44-40 0.427 220gr Alpha Bravo

    100 Sierra 30-30 0.308 170gr flat nose power jacket

    100 Sierra 6mm 0.243 100gr spitzer boat tail no cannelure
    100 Hornady 6mm 0.243 100gr spire point
    70 Hornady 6mm 0.243 100gr btsp

    Bullets(home cast):
    150 0.430 240gr
    225 0.452 255gr
    400 0.429 200gr

    Casting molds(Lee):
    0.459 405gr single cavity
    0.452 255gr double cavity
    0.457 405gr double cavity
    0.429 200gr double cavity
    0.430 240gr double cavity

    Sizing and lubricating dies(Lee):
    0.452
    0.457
    0.427
    0.429

    Reloading dies sets:
    RCBS 0.243 win LF 3 dies
    Lyman 30-30 win 2 dies
    Lyman 45 acp 3 dies
    Lyman 44-40 3 dies
    Lee 243 win 3 dies

    *I have the box for a 45 long colt die set but cannot locate the actual dies. If I find them then I will ship for free or meet up. No charge for them either way as I did not include them in the package price.

    Misc shell holders of varying condition.

    Lyman T mag 6 hole turret. The original big orange beast. The deceased taught me to reload with this press. It worked fine a few years ago and still feels like it locks up fine. I'd keep this one myself but I have other presses.

    Lee ingot mold and dipper
    Lee Pro 4-20 melter

    At least 10lbs mixed scrap bullets and lead for molds

    Free add on: C&R Wax bullets and drop in cases(44's) for 209 primers (candrwax.com)

    Bullets were counted as accurately as possible and in some cases numbers were estimated by weight.

    Pictures to follow.
