    1. McAuliffe claims ARs, magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, homemade guns need to be prohibited under a “public health crisis”

If McAuliffe wins and the gun-controllers stay in power in the House of Delegates, we will see another push to confiscate guns, magazines, and more. VOTE!

    2. VA Governor’s race is a toss-up; gun owners could swing it!

A new report in the Stamford Advocate says the race for governor in Virginia is getting emotional and wannabe second-termer Terry McAuliffe cannot count on support from all Democrats in the Commonwealth who may be fed up with the far leftward tilt of the party.

[PVC: There is a misprint in the article. Virginia’s Election Day is on November 2, not November 3.]

    3. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! Early and in person!

If you must vote absentee by mail, be sure to get a witness’s signature on the ballot.

Also, today is the last day you can register to vote, if you haven’t done so.

From the Virginia Department of Elections website:
    EARLY VOTING IN-PERSON

You can vote early at your local registrar’s office beginning 45 days before Election Day and ending the Saturday before Election Day. Before visiting your local registrar’s office, you may wish to check your registration status or call your registrar’s office. You can find your registrar’s phone number here. To vote early in-person, do the following:

Starting 45 days before Election Day, visit your local registrar’s office or a satellite voting location in your county or city to vote early. Remember, the Saturday before Election Day is the last day to vote early.
You do not have to have a reason or fill out an application to vote early.
At the registrar’s office or satellite voting location, you must provide your name and address and show an acceptable form of ID or sign an ID Confirmation Statement. To view a complete list of acceptable IDs, please visit our page. If acceptable identification is not provided, you must sign an ID Confirmation Statement or a provisional ballot will be offered and you are allowed until the Friday at noon following the election to provide a copy of acceptable identification to the electoral board or sign
an ID Confirmation Statement. Provisional voters receive a notice to remind them of the deadline and right to attend the electoral board meeting.
Accessible equipment and/or curbside voting is available upon request.

    11. VCDL membership meeting in Stafford on October 28

There is a VCDL Membership Dinner Meeting in Stafford on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at:

    Vinny's

    397 Garrisonville Rd

    Stafford, VA 22554

    (by the 610 Car Wash)

    5:30 - Earliest Arrival Time

6:00 - 7:15 Dinner (order off the menu)

    7:15 - 8:45 Meeting

We would like at least 50 people for dinner to make it profitable for the business. More is better! The room will hold up to 100.

We need to provide the restaurant with the number of people having dinner by the afternoon of 10/25 so staffing arrangements can be made.

If you intend on coming, please send an email to: Bruce@vcdl.org, with the subject of "Stafford Dinner x/y" where "x" is the number of people coming to eat and "y" is the number of people coming to the meeting. If two people are coming to eat and attend the meeting, you would put “2/2”. If 2 people are attending the meeting, but not eating, you would put “0/2.”

If the room fills up, people having dinner will, of course, have the priority.

Confirmations will be sent out on 10/26 - 10/27

Come on out for an evening off food, fun, great conversations, and information - It has been too long!

Democrats will just cheat like they did last time and register a bunch of illegals to vote. Unless Republicans plan to do the same and start to play dirty nothing will change and the a$$hat will win again. Prove me wrong.

It's certainly past time to run a "Green" candidate in VA to suck votes from the anointed Dem. Whatthehell, they did just that to the Repubs
    a few cycles ago.

Sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander . . . assuming that they can still tell the difference.
