Anybody here loading 223/5.56 with AA2230..?? Back in the day (late 90's) I probably burned 30 lbs. of the stuff, but I just recently got back in to reloading for rifle, mainly for accuracy purposes, so this isn't about saving a few pennies per round.

More specifically, I'd be interested in pet loads with 55 and 62 gr. cannelured FMJ bullets for use in AR type rifles. I know what the manufacturer recommends with regard to load data, and I have the most current Lyman and Speer load manuals, but I would be interested to hear personal experiences from AA2230 users.

FWIW I couldn't find AA2230 but was told that Ramshot X-terminator is the same powder and the Western reloading guide does show the same numbers for them at least for HDY 55gr FMJBT and M855 comercial and NATO loadings

I tried it in my AR but CFE223 shot better so I went with that. I got better velocities with CFE also. AA2230 is the same as Xterminator.
27 gr of CFE223 shot great in my rifle with Sierra 55gr BK
Also got excellent results with Reloder 10X
