    Im glad someone else is crazy as im . This has been on my to-do list for some time now and im finally getting started I'm doing two pistol builds at the same time one 458 and 308 so far the 308 Barrel is the hardest part to find

    Go to kak industries website. They have all that stuff. I am goin to get their McLane upper for my build.I don't know what's in stock but that is where i plan on getting mine.

    So...what barrel length and caliber are guys thinking about for their AR-10 pistols? .308 seems like it'd be a real firebreather anywhere under 16 inches. Of course, if that's your thing, then carry on.

    I checked them out yesterday and I didn't see anything thing in stock but I'm still looking and will let you know what I see

    Im looking for 10-12 in length and im sure it will be a handful

    I shot one of DSA's FAL pistols in .308 last month at the Big 3 East event. I honestly think my teeth rattled loose from the concusion of that thing. It was insane :thumbsup:

    This barrel length will destroy most suppressors too so check the barrel length and caliber ratings.

    Adjustable gas blocks dont last long on short .308 type AR's.

    There are many that I have reworked to get them running. They are a beast.

    Do you have a list of parts that hold up on a 12" .308 upper? I have a stamp for my AR-10 but haven't really pursued a short upper cause I just haven't had the time to research out anything.

    Or, do you have any recommendations for a completely built upper? I was thinking of contacting Precision Firearms but am open to suggestions?
