    Hi Folks in So Md. This is a little off topic, but does anyone know of reasonably priced K-1 heating oil. I'm in northern Calvert and most places still want 3.99 a gallon. It's hard to stay warm at that price. All input welcome.:)

    Up here in the Carroll county area the best price I've seen for K-1 kerosene is $3/gallon at Charlie's at Rt. 26 and Wards Chapel (technically that's Balto. county).... that's at the pump though, not delivered.

    Last time I had a load delivered it was just over $4 a gallon. That was back in August or September and I still have over 3/4 of a tank left due to going back to a woodstove for supplemental heat.

    Sorry I can't offer you anything better, but at the price it is now, I'll keep cutting wood...

    I just got in from of all things purchasing K1. Shocked........$2.99.9 gal @ Sheetz in Joppatowne. The last time I bought some........$.99.9 :sad20:

    Someone should set up a website for tracking heating oil and kerosene prices, similar to gasbuddy.com and gun-deals.com.

    You might check with KeroDel.

    When I was using a lot of kerosene, they were quite competitive and had a home delivery program.

    Not sure if they deliver to your area, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
