Interesting. Did the previous ban have a section that required the Attorney General to conduct a study and present the finding of the affects of the ban? I thought it interesting that that was included. Guess we should get our lowers now!

Yes it did, and there were several government and independent studies conducted to trace almost every effect of the previous ban, basically none could prove the ban did anything. Seems crime actually went down during the ban due to outside influences, and the percentage of gun crimes involving "assault weapons" remained relatively unchanged at 1%.

In fact the only result was a bush presidency and both houses of congress turning red

I will not buy anything because of an impending ban that I would not normally buy.

Instead, I send some bucks to pro-gun organizations, buy stamps for letters, and try to encourage others to do the same, all in all stopping the ban in it's tracks is a lot cheaper than buying a bunch of overpriced crap I don't need.

Fixed. While I haven't checked, I'm willing to bet that these guys are liberal RINOs.

Why not call them what they are: Anti Gun Activist-Politicians. Why use the Dem/Repub label at all?

Off topic...I wish I could figure out how to use the strikeout....:sad20:
