I just about pulled the trigger on the 10.5 model last night when they had a 10% sale running. This would be a done deal to me if they came out in multiple calibers including 9mm. It’s not cheap to put together a lower that takes advantage of the lack of buffer tube. It’s over 250$ to get an adapter and light weight folding pistol brace.

I got mine at 10% off plus free shipping. Total was $719 all in for the BRN-180s.

All set with Sig folding brace, Gear Head Works Mod 1, KNS vertical picatinny adapter, and Franklin Binary trigger.

They need to step it up to max idiocy and release a 5.5" Rattler competitor upper. I'd buy one of those in a hot second for my pre-ban.

Brownells has said that they will be coming out with different barrel lengths and calibers. 300 blk was mentioned. You might get what you are asking for in time.

General question. Does anyone make a non-brace stock like that which fits an AR lower? Want one for my .22 AR.

If PWS is involved then it must be a great upper. I have one of their MK116 Mod1 long piston purchased just before 10/1/13. It is the pic avatar I use.

The style of Sig stock/brace that I have has been discontinued.

This is the new one that they are using for the MCX/MPX/Rattler.

You will also need one of these... You will need to get the one "with a flange" to hold in your rear take-down pin detent spring.

Man, I really think these are cool! I wrote to Brownells and told them if they make it with a FA bolt, I will buy one!

No sear trip is whats holding me back too. Its not going to be an easy solution as you just can't add a 'tail' to the bolt. There would be nowhere for it to go w/ no buffer tube...
I can envision something like the CMMG 22 solution as that also doesn't use the buffer space. Will need to be little the little drop in plate that scoots back and forth just a little bit.
