Can you imagine sitting on that sidewalk helpless like that truck driver did the other day with them animals taking random pot shots at you. He's lucky to be alive. Any kind of training or weapon would beat that.

Mind posting a link again? I missed this story. TIA

I have a little thing of pepper spray in my car, and a big steel rod if the pepper spray isn't effective.

I'd be worried about the heat buildup setting off the pepper spray in a car/truck. That's why I keep it on my person.

I could definitely use some professional coaching on how to spot and avoid bad situations. I have to admit that my situational awareness often slips to effectively zero, even though I know better.

Depending on specifically when/where/etc, I'm in!

The state of Maryland is messed up for sure we all know that they love dead people and don't care about citizens . We see it more and more .

What is legal to defend yourself out and about . Pepper spray ? Mace ?
    Stun Guns ?

I think i know but wanted to provide something for my wife , she is asking .

In Maryland, only a loud feminine scream would be permitted to stop someone from dishing out bodily harm.

I think with "class participation", we could get at least 3 hours out of something. Could do a Heinz 57, a little bit of everything.

    Behavior detection/Awareness
When YOU think you need to use deadly force. When to address it. Situations
    Chat about home defense
    Concealed carry options
Hell, even some advance shooting techniques

Think of some things you might need help with on these subjects and we can get some good ideas going.

Could be a hoot of a time.

I once had a guy try to set me up for a strong arm robbery at the BB&T bank in Eldersburg. I spotted the set up and foiled his dastardly scheme. Did have my hand on my Pepper Blaster, but didn't draw. I sent him one way and went another way myself, watching for his presumed confederates. Telephoned the bank with a description once I was clear.

Point is, Eldersburg is not the hood.

I'd like October at the latest. I think November is too unpredictable with snow up this way.

I was looking at my list of "things to do" and i think near the end of Sept. would work .
Going to talk to the wife and make sure she has nothing planned ahead of time . To keep myself out of trouble ...:o

Did I read and interpret it wrong again? I thought that a (stun gun) was acceptable for Non-Lethal Self Defense in Maryland. If the situation was not self initiated, not self aggravated. Additional after trying to avoid the aggressor it was allowed. ("all assuming that the stun gun was concealed as to not initiate any form of aggression").
