    You could get really serious with sights like these. Solid clicks, micrometer tracking (because the guts are micormeters), adjustable front & rear apertures, elevation adjustable front, no gunsmith mounting front on a .750 barrel, picatinny mount rear.

    Link or manf. would be nice...

    I have used this $10 leather sling adapter for several rifles (mine and loaners) and it does a great job. Can't do the hasty sling, but works great for a loop GI sling.

    The biggest question for the Savage 6A is whether the iron sights (and your eyes) are good for 4MOA or better at 25 meters. Some people have those old rifles dialed in - some struggle at an event to get on paper with a hammer and punch! Take it to the range and see what it will do.

    But I would not recommend for the 200 yard rimfire - that will be a lot of work.

    Thanks. It shoots great. The sling looks great too. Yeah, 200 yards with that may work but a lot of Kentucky windage :)
