The hoopty got a new battery today. ****ing ridiculous how much they can charge for a battery now. $120, last time it was $80 and the time before that $58. Doubled in price in 10 years for the same old lead acid garbage design. Funny how they keep pushing AGM more and more, the price is enough to make you squint and they swear it is the best thing ever made and will outlast a conventional flooded battery by 3-4x yet the warranty is only a year longer. The numbers just don't add up there ?

I must be doing something wrong if I can average 5 years on a battery before it starts acting up and at the first symptom of failure I don't even hesitate to yank it and replace it.

    1. No, a lid is not included. Yes, a lid can be purchased separately.

I'm starting to go through my toolboxes and see what tools I need to infill my current collections.

I didn't have a set of L-shaped Torx "Allen" style keys and I needed a new razor knife for my box here at the house.

Grainger.com lets you sort results by country of origin, so USA made Eklin Torx/Allen-style wrenches and a razor knife inbound.

If I get pissed off enough to throw away my Chinese made tools just on principle, I might be ordering some more things.

McMaster for the most part does not tell you the brand but I noticed earlier this year they started to include COO for most everything now.

    That's good to know.

I'm going to order a 3lb hammer, but the ones on Grainger that are USA made are out of sight expensive. I might just go on Craiglist and look for some estate sales for that.

This company is going to cost me a lot of money. Place an order after 12pm yesterday and it was on my porch by 10:30 this morning.

Beautiful 3lb USA made hammer. I'm ready to break some stuff now.

Covid has slowed them slightly but I can usually place an order by 5pm and have it next morning... They were amazon prime before amazon prime even existed.

Just found site because of this...
I think it may cost some money for me too.
Just randomly browsing items, so far 5 for 5 Country on Origin USA.

You guys are awesome. I keep trying to buy USA made products and it’s hard to find them, and know where to look. This made my day.
