I gassed up my pick-up in at a Shell station near our house in Columbia today and the tank stopped dispensing at 20 gallons. I’m guessing this is just a measure to hold onto his supply until his next scheduled top up.

Stopped at the Giant in Olney this evening. This was their meat display. Not a scrap of beef, pork, chicken, lamb, or even ostrich. Same with the eggs.

Came back from Rehoboth Beach two days early due to everything being closed. Wife decided that if she started feeling ill she’d prefer to be at home. Really strange to see all the empty parking lots at all the restaurants especially the IHOP and Cracker Barrel. Saw the same going across Kent island. All doing strictly takeout now. Until their supplies run out...

I’d wanted to get this book for a while because I think it’s interesting. I figured sooner might be better than later so I ordered it. If I run out of food I’ll just walk around until I find some lol.

Got some pool shock to disinfect large amounts of water. Last longer in storage than bleach

This pandemic has a fever and dry cough has it's main symptom. I recommend getting cough syrup and fever reducers.

I have read a couple accounts online of ibuprofen making symptoms worse or lasting longer? Something about it suppressing the immune system, and we should use Acetaminophen for this illness, as far as pain and fever. Is that true?

Correct. ibuprofen boosts enzyme production in your body to reduce inflammation. This boost in enzymes will make the symptoms worse. Currently all steroidal and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are being contraindicated because of this. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is the only recommended fever reducer at this point. Make sure to restrict usage to the stated doses on the bottle as too much is bad juju real quick where your liver is concerned.

Does "Nothing" count. I've had a stock of emergency preparedness supplies for a long while now. Rotate out as needed. Other than toilet paper, I'm good to go if I have to completely shut in for a bit.

The only reason there is a TP shortage. The 3 ladies in the house don't seem to want to listen to limiting usage to (see pic) once a day ;)

I have thought about hitting the milsurp stores to see if they have MOPP gear , just for shiggles. lol.

I ordered a resupply today from BJs and had it delivered via Instacart. They do (or at least did as of this afternoon) have TP and milk in stock. I ordered my ration of 2 cases of TP and a few gallons of milk to freeze. I'm expecting this to last a little longer than anticipated.

Avoid ibuprofen if you have flu-like symptoms resulting in body ache or fever.
