Probably some decent info in those old mags. Could be some bad info too, like how to glass bed fishing rod tube sections in fore-ends to stiffen them too but what the hell its all good.
You may find out what bolt actions have weak primary extraction and what not so they are worth looking in to.

Well since I LIKE that era and before rifles and handguns for me they're perfect. I'll eventually pass them on once done with them. I'm no fan of nowadays plastic fantastics.

Sitting on the throne all day might lead to hemorrhoids.
Had them removed twice 20 years apart, should I live another 18 years I'll regret it no doubt. Not sure which was worse, emergency appendectomy or roids operation, both miserable to the enth degtree.
May i still suggest you use TP , wiping butt with old mags will not be gentle .
Aged magazines are for the connoisseurs of throneamania.
Besides, the Washington Post would be better suited for the wipe task. Those regal magazines are to be treated with respect.

I used to get those and I would save them till the next purge before moving than they went to the trash , Great stuff in them and it was cutting edge back then
