P220 both reliable and more stopping power on 45acp
    870 Tactical for reliability
    Ar15

If I owned, I'd swap out the ar15 for an AK and the 870 for a saiga12

    Glock 19
    Mossberg 500
    Remington 597

Handgun is for personal protection from other civilians.
    Shotgun is for Zombie Killing!
.22 rifle is for hunting for food, small animals such as squirrels and such. My Winchester Model 70 would be too big and weigh me down.

    AR
    870
    Handgun in 9mm.

I only say 9mm 'cause there should be an a*s load of ammo available (common NATO round as with the AR and 870)

I would prefer my 229 in .357 Sig but ammo may be limited. Could always pack the .40 barrel in the bug out bag.

    I'd take my:

    1. Rock River LAR-15LH Elite Operator with the ACOG, and a its custom suppressor: I can touch'm far enough out to establish a reasonable parameter minimizing lost strikes due to longer shots. The suppressor, we don't want to ring the dinner bell so any noise reduction is welcome. Ammo is light and plentiful as well.

    2. Glock 17: For those closer situations where number 3 is out of range and low range situations. Again the ammo is light and plentiful.

    3. My Iaido sword: no need to reload, and quiet. Also allow me to carry more ammo for the firearms a cleaning/maintenance kit, 3 W LED Flashlight (a second set of batteries), a jar of peanut butter and some water.

I'd like to bring my Spetsnaz Machete but not as a weapon as it as other uses can i bring it too,...please...

Oh crap, heheh I just realized I described my go kit... well almost the go kit hads medical and MRE's as well,...hmm I should add these to the list above :-)

AR - decent range and capacity
Mossburg 500, it's the only shotgun I have
Walther P-99, decent capacity and accuracy at short range, and because we're talking shooting zombies in the head vs. stopping power, I don't need a .40 or .45

    Remington 1911 R1 - side arm
AK47 with all the rounds the wife and kids can carry
870 police - for stopping 2 or more zombies with one shot

Than my daughter has a AK47 22lr for the zombie rats, groundhogs and other zombiefied animals.
My my wife has an AK 47 and a S&W 442 side arm

Were set for the zombie apocalypse

what?!? not even sbr'd shotty? <shocked>

you cant suppress a shotgun efficiently( and I'm not getting one from RedJacket). Zombies are attracted to gunfire....( see Walking Dead). Loud noises equates to Live bait in zombieland.

So No Shotguns...Only suppressed stuff.... A suppressed 300BLK upper would be perfect. I would rather have a tactical 308 boltgun or a PDW instead of a shotgun
