My local gun store has a S&W 30-1. It is a 32 cal J frame revolver with a 3 in barrel. It comes with some of the original ammo. It's got less than 50 rounds through it. Only problem is some rust on the end of the barrel. Other than that it's in perfect condition.

    He's asking $400.

I am just not sure if I want it. But I afraid to pass up a deal.

    Thoughts?

    Rob.

If you reload, buy it, it is a good deal.

Just for comparison, I just picked up a 10-5 in 4” barrel nickel plated with box and excellent condition for $525 at an auction this weekend.

I've decided to pass on the gun.

It's a no go as an everyday shooter since ammo for it isn't particularly cheap. 32 cal is a no go for self defense compared to other guns I lost boating. The rust on the barrel means it's a no go as a collectable.

Thank you all for your input.
