I wish this was in the shops I searched for a Savage w/ threaded barrel and wood stock before I broke down and got a synthetic B22 then later put a boyds on it.
I have hard nothing but good things about the Savage and somewhere there was a thread on them here. B22 is the most accurate 22 I have right now w/ decent ammo through it.
Very good bang for the buck.

    Where they send me.
I have their threaded version in the cheap plastic stock. Shoots very well and I am happy with it. Savage is usually great value for the $$.

That laminated stock may be heavy, does look nice though.

I have a Mk II, but not the Minimalist. It shoots very, very, well. I assume this has the same action but a different stock. The magazine is an old school single stack type of design. The B22 has a rotary mag I think. Even so, I would say buy it.

My son has one with wood stock and accutrigger. Love the trigger. Tack driver.

I bet they are pretty much the same on the short barrels
This is my B22 bull barrel with suppressor and CCI SV 50 yards 5 rounds each
I would prefer the straight mag over the rotary. I just feel that I have to really watch what I’m doing when loading so I don’t deform the bullet which would kill accuracy when loading the mag on the rotary.

That is my biggest worry about the B22, the Rotary magazine doesn't get alot of glowing reviews! Also considering the Ruger Precision for that reason. Beautiful shooting by the way!

My Savage MKII (TRR-SR) is very accurate with good ammo plus it likes CCI Mini Mags. If you don't mind the plastic stock, the FV-SR is great value.

BTW, I don't recall which one it was, may be the minimalist but I swear I saw a Savage with wood stock at Duffy's a few weeks ago.
