    That Officers Model was made in the '30s...their construction and performance was and is superb. During the Depression when sales were down the assemblers were able to really take their time with their products. That time period was a high point of American firearms craftsmanship at Colt, S&W, Winchester and others.

    I already have at least one of those Officers Models from that period...can't justify more. If someone doesn't care about the finish they can get themselves a fine shooting revolver.

    As of this afternoon they had a Egyptian FN49 Semi Auto Rifle in 8mm Mauser in the racks near the back for about $1k.
