Kicken Wing
Snakes and Sparklers
A salute to everyone that made it there tonight. Wish I could have joined you.
I'll be there in about 20 minutes. I have my PP T over a light sweat shirt. Hopefully it won't get too cool this evening.
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to speak with you my friend.Darn it. I went to the Parole MISSION BBQ.
I’ll finish up and head to the Dock St location.
I wish I knew of the free parking, could've saved $15. Next event I'll have to ask around and figure that out ahead of time.It was an honor to be there. The free parking garage was a bonus and I think the worst we did was some melted wax dripping on the ground.
During most of the legislative off season , Calvert St garage is open to the public all day .
Deeplurker, with help from DC-W, Migraineman, swinokur, AOB, Stoveman, and many others did a wonderful job in organizing the remembrance. The weather was pleasant and not overly warm. Many of Jeff's family members were there including his incredibly spry 91-yr old mother.
I drove in at about 7:45pm, didn't know my way around, saw Clandestine on the sidewalk, and hollered at the poor guy from my car asking where to find parking. And of course he gave me clear and precise directions of where to go. Some things never change.
Shoot, didn't check this thread in time. Have been wanting to meet you.
Did get to meet a number of MDS folks that I've been interested in meeting (including Welder) tonight.
Babalou, thanks for the drink afterwards. We'll have to throw some more back sometime in the future.
Finished the evening chatting with Jeff's daughter, her boyfriend, Jim12, and JoeRinMD. Discovered that Jeff's daughter went to the same high school my older boy recently graduated from and her favorite teacher back then is a good friend of mine (and quite the marksman, although she had no idea until tonight).
You as well, my friend. Second time in two days.It was good to see you my friend.
