Well yeah... WE do... but we aren't your average Americans. I think most folks here are well prepared for such contingencies, but I think the vast majority of gun owners will be sadly surprised if these events come to pass.

Perhaps then they will become believers. Remember, there are many gun owners who believe that you shouldn't have the guns that you do. These folks need a "Come to Jesus" event to make them understand. ;)

    In the boonies of MoCo
My wife said there was a segment on the local news.
WM fears civil unrest in the near future.

Correct. They've stated they've pulled everything from the cases to keep them more secure in the event of civil unrest surrounding the results of the election. They will still sell you the items they have, and will order more, but you have to ask for them, they're not just sitting in the case. My guess is, if you're looking for something in particular, you'll have to call and talk to the sporting goods desk to see if they have it in stock.

Their CEO is a left wing nut job. He's been waiting for an excuse to do this for a while.

Many of their stores pulled firearms years ago in urban area stores. I doubt whether they will ever put them back on the shelves..we shall see..

A friend pointed this out to me about 10 years ago, and I haven't found an exception to his statement yet...
"Any Walmart within 2 miles of public transportation does not sell guns."

Have any other Maryland Walmarts removed their ammunition? Not counting PG county and a few others that never carried ammo.

Walmart on Ordnance Rd in Glen Burnie HAD, 2-100 rd boxes of Winchester 12ga, 10-25 rd boxes of Winchester 12ga and 4 boxes of rifle ammo of which I am not familiar with.

I took the 2-100 rd boxes of Winchester, and the guy behind me took the rest.

The shelves are now completely empty.

The other customer asked if they were going to get more ammo in, and was told, according to the manager, no.

They had to cheap shotguns I was gonna go buy today with all the talk of removal I hoped they were still there. You guys saved me a trip!

What’s interesting is that even though removed from the sales floor they are still available to buy.

Was in Mr. Airy last night. Gun case and ammo shelves were bare. Spoke to the gent who runs the gun counter. He said they received a directive to remove everything from the retail shelves. I asked when they expected to re-stock. "Some time after the election, probably, but we don't have a firm date yet."

Not sure how rock solid that is if its a policy. The Walmart in La Plata sells firearms and ammo and has 2 Charles County "Van Go" stops one in the parking lot and one at the garden center entrance.

Until they un**** themselves and put all ammo back regardless of what type of firearm it may fire from and bring back guns other than "harmless hunting" guns they can sit on a cactus.
