Who makes a nice mount that puts a rail section on a 30mm tube? Want to add a red dot to my LR setup but not on a 45 degree rail mount, wanna short rail section right on the scope tube

You can actually buy rails that will mount to your scope tube.

What rifle?
I have an AR mount that one of the upper caps is a rail for red dot. I used it to mount a Burris Fast Fire.

Weaver makes them. Most red dot manufacturers also make specific mounts for thier products

These are what I used on my last 2 scope mounts, one on a 5.56 and the other on a 7.62 (you can likely find them for less elsewhere?)

Looking for a tube mounted rail section. I know they make em I just can’t find one. Non integral to the scope mount.

Thanks, now I do not have to dig out the rifle figure out what I used.
PEPR mounts.
My first one was with a Burris MTAC/FastFire combo from Sport Optics.
